Elect Dr. Erin Barthel

Erin was recently appointed to Town Council to fill the vacancy left by Jason Indomenico. When she, her husband, and three children moved to Avon in 2020, Erin hit the “ground running”! She is a catechist at St Ann’s Church, leads the local Moms Demand Action group, and serves on the Pine Grove School PTA where she also developed a nature classroom for the school.

As a pediatric oncologist, she has a keen sense of the needs of our children and the importance of supporting families. She and other parents are building a children's educational program for grades K-3 that celebrates diverse cultures. The program received grant from Avon Greater Together Fund.

Erin is excited to meet you, hear what your priorities are for the town, and represent all of our voices on the Town Council.
