- Married to Barbra (Goodman) Chester since 1982. Father of two sons: Craig, 18, a Freshman at University of Wisconsin and Steven, 16, a Junior at Avon Old Farms School.
- B.A. University of Wisconsin, 1971 with honors.
- Law degree from California Western School of Law, 1974 .
- Admitted to Practice in Connecticut and in the Federal Courts, representing residential mortgage servicers nationwide in the areas of loan originations, loss mitigation, foreclosure, eviction, REO Sales, and bankruptcy.
- Partner in the law firm of Hunt, Leibert, Chester, & Jacobson, P.C. with offices in Hartford, Boston, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
- Member of Golf Club of Avon since 1995.
- Honored by American Ort Federation as its Man of the Year in 1991.
- Member of Pro Bono panel of Hartford County Bar Association and have represented numerous indigent persons free of charge in landlord/tenant disputes and other legal matters.
I am a candidate for the Zoning Board of Appeals because my skills acquired as a practicing real
estate attorney for 27 years will allow me to be an informed, thoughtful and
productive member of the Board. I have always had a strong sense of service to
others and wish to contribute to Avon's continued advancement
